“ When I visited, my mate and I had a mixed meat dish with pita bread and chips each. I can’t remember the name of the dish, but the food was pretty good overall. I decided to try the place down the road before giving this one a proper rating, as they’re practically the same type of shop, just presented in very different ways. My way of looking at it is this: if you have the time, come to Northcote often, and enjoy good meats, I recommend checking out Lambs Northcote first and then heading to Momus Boys. Lambs Northcote is still good, but I think you might be a bit disappointed if you do it the other way around. Food ratings: * Chips: 3/5 * Pita bread: 4/5 * Chicken: 4/5 * Lamb: 3.5/5 Sorry about the picture, but it does taste good. You can dine in or take away. The place itself is cosy, maybe a little stuffy, but cosy nonetheless. I actually like the atmosphere: it has a slightly rustic look/old look, and the staff are nice. That said, it does feel a bit bland. That’s not quite the right word, but it’s just not a fully uplifting space. There also didn’t seem to be any air conditioning on (or it wasn’t very strong), which lowered the atmosphere a bit. I think better aircon could really improve the overall vibe. Either way, I’d still recommend checking out Lambs Northcote. ”

“ Second time here. Restaurant setting is old school and neat and tidy. Got lamb platter . Lamb is traditional and delicious. The chips were ur average deep fried style nothing special but nice .. got a small Greek salad which was nice only issue is just needed more of it. Tzatziki was spot on and delicious , just needed more of it. Bread was nothing special but it was nice . Overall would recommend Lambs. ”

“ Delicious!! Went for lunch and had the best lamb souvlaki, the lamb was so tender and juicy and just great! My partner got the lamb and chips gyros which was just a plate of plain lamb and chips, not what we expected but it was nice. Overall, I recommend! ”

“ They make a pretty good HSP! I’d recommend going for the lamb over the chicken or mixed options the - the lamb was sooo juicy and tender (yum!!!), whereas the chicken was a bit dry at the time. ”

These man-children act like they are above everybody else, ruining quality businesses just to get validation from others. Lambs Northcote has been my favourite place since the early 2000's, eating there with my family and friends every other week. I am extremely disappointed with all of these false reviews made by customers who try to get their favourite souvla spots to the top, neglecting other great restaurants. I will be coming here again with my wife, kids, and introducing my students to this gem that Northcote has to offer (if you haven't already tried it)... Thank you, and do not listen to these trolls on the internet hiding behind their keyboards! ”

“ Best Greek food in Northcote. Don’t waste your time with others down the road. Quality souvlaki and very tasty. Also good portions. Other places cheap out on the meat. These guys don’t. Dine in or take away, it’s both awesome. Service is great by all and special mention to Klalib who has been working there for years is also a top guy who always provides awesome service. ”

“ Had a great lunch at Lambs! Ordered a loaded HSP and it was delicious. The lamb off the spit really hit the spot and I’ll definitely be back. ”
